Analysys Mason claims that Apple and the upcoming 3G iPhone are in a prime position to make significant impact on mobile TV market. Although they give no confirmation that such a service would be announced at WWDC on Monday, they clearly illustrate a confluence of factors that could well lead to mobile TV on the iPhone in the near future.

Reuters is reporting that the 3G iPhone will be announced by the Italian carrier TIM (and presumably the rest of Europe) on Monday. Better yet, Reuters' source within TIM says that the 3G iPhone will be available immediately, Tuesday at the latest.
The latest example comes from Japanese designer Isamu Sanada's vision of what he calls the "iPhone 2.0." The concept mock-up dispenses with the phone's curved edges in favor of a more boxy look. Sanada has a well known reputation for coming up with some of the best Apple concept devices, including a Mac Air Tablet.
While the 3G iPhone is sure to be released or shown at WWDC, it is only a smoke screen. There is something else brewing, and it involves more than a mouse and keyboard (though a keyboard isn't far off).
The virus, which takes advantage of a security hole in iTunes, locks the infected iPhone at random intervals with a picture of a gold ring on the screen. The phone remains locked until the touchscreen is stroked, and the words "my precious" are spoken into the microphone.
