Archives for Free SatNav Forever category

Like your touchscreen with a side of Qwerty? Then feast your eyes on the Nokia C6, an all new touchscreen device with a slide out Qwerty keyboard. Best of all, the Nokia C6 has now launched here in the UK and is in stock now at Mobiles.co.uk and available on a range of fantastic offers!

The Nokia C6 follows in the footsteps of the N97 Mini, sporting a crystal clear 3.2 inch touchscreen display and slide out full Qwerty keyboard only this time the keyboard slides out flat rather than the arched mechanism of the N97 Mini (which should lead to a more reassuring build quality).

As with the N97 Mini, the C6 runs the Symbian operating system meaning users can download a host of fantastic apps from Nokia’s Ovi Store, chat with friends via push email or IM client with Nokia messaging and, best of all, free SatNav forever with Nokia maps. That’s right, with the C6 you can leave the SatNav at home and rely solely on your phone for your navigation needs.

As with any smartphone worth its salt, the C6 is highly versatile, boasting a 5.0 Megapixel camera with an LED Flash and Autofocus, MP3 Music Player with 240MB internal memory and expandable memory up to 16GB using a MicroSD card, 3.5mm audio jack plus a built in FM radio.

The Nokia C6 is now in stock at Mobiles.co.uk and available on a range of fantastic tariffs on T-Mobile. Pick yourself up a C6 free for as little as ?20 per month and get 300 minutes, 300 texts and free mobile web browsing and downloads. Following the roll-out of Nokia’s Ovi Maps and free navigation software to the Nokia N97 Mini, E72 and X6 in January, owners of the Nokia E66 and E71, as of now, can benefit from the latest version of Ovi Maps and the walk and drive navigation too. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Download the new Ovi Maps application from nokia.com/maps to your PC
2. Install the application using Ovi Suite to your device
3. Go to applications folder and start using Ovi Maps

Simple (or ‘Simples’ if you’re a fan of a certain, rather annoying, television advert) Nokia has also issued a note to users that; ‘if users do not install the new Ovi Maps application, they will be prompted to pay the one year navigation license of 9.99 EUR if they start using the drive and walk navigation feature.’

Nokia have also said that users can access the Ovi Suite and install the latest country maps onto their devices to enjoy offline map browsing as well as the free navigation. However, due to some technical difficulties involved, it was not possible for the premium content such as guide Michelin and Lonely Planet to be made available.

The update can be found at Nokia.com/maps and will also be available in the Ovi Store in the not so distant future.
