Framestore, the special effects studio that creates visual effects for Hollywood blockbusters such as Avatar, Prince of Persia and Sherlock Holmes have worked closely with to bring us the FX Studio App. What exactly does it entail? Read on for all the details…
The FX Studio App allows you to transform your HD Movies captured on your Nokia N8 into epic Hollywood masterpieces. How? By adding stunning special effects to the action. Once you’ve recorded a video clip, opening it in the FX Studio app will present users with a host of effects to customise and create all new videos. From the picture shown here, you can clearly see that these are highly detailed animations that move and sit effortlessly. And, whilst FX Studio is still a work in progress, Framestore have given us a sneak peak at what other special effects we can look forward to and the list includes an Alien tentacle, UFO, an explosion and a laser gun.
