DirectControl is a mod that allows you to go directly to the iPod controls in the multitasking dock. Normally when you double-tap the home button to bring up the multitasking dock, it brings you to the first application in the dock and you have to scroll to the left to get to the iPod controls. Well, with this mod, you are brought directly to the iPod controls and then can scroll right to see the apps. I also like that you can choose to go directly to the iPod controls all the time or only when music is playing… a nice little feature. Overall, a simple but useful mod if you use your iPod a lot. You can get DirectControl via the . Check out the Application Description below for more info about the app.
Note:
• Requires iOS 4+
• Works in conjunction with
• Settings are located in the stock Setting app.

MiDarkTheme is a dark theme (obviously) that contains 36 icons, a dock, status bar, lockscreen background, wallpaper, SMS mod, Safari mod, Phone mod, pop-up mod, Calculator mod, badges, page dots… etc. Overall it is a decently designed theme. There are a few things that could be a little cleaner… like the Safari loading mod but overall it’s not too bad. You can get MiDarkTheme via the .
Note: There is no Stocks icon for this theme. … []

Ok, I know this is not new news but I had someone email me asking how to change the name and icon of an app. I was pretty sure it would be easy so I just did a quick search and here’s how to do it.
You can either use from your computer or the iFile app from Cydia to access your folders and files on your iPhone. For this guide I’ll be using iFile right on the iPhone.
First we will be changing an icon for an App Store application. I’ve chosen to change the Tweetie app to the name Twitter. Kind of kewl since Twitter bought Tweetie and will be changing the name in the future.
1. Open iFile and navigate to the var/mobile/Applications folder.
Matte Battery is a lock screen battery mod that changes the battery displayed while charging your iPhone or iPod touch from glossy to matte. The colors are still the same as the stock lock screen battery… green and red. I have seen this lock screen battery used in a few themes however, this gives you the ability to use the battery with any theme. I am currently using it with the Smoog theme.

High Tech is a WinterBoard theme that is available in four colors; USSR (red), Rave-Up (blue), Clover (green) and Negative Cells (orange). All four themes contain the same mods (just in the different colors); 72 icons, 5 wallpapers, dock, loading screens, lock screen battery, badges, weather app mod, phone app mod and quite a few other UI mods.
The themes also contain UI sounds. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of UI sounds. If you are like me and would rather not have them, you can (or use the iFile app right on your device) and locate the Library/Themes/the name of the theme you are using (ex. High Tech USSR.theme) and delete the UISounds folder. If you don’t want to delete the folder, you can just rename it to something else.

Bliss is a that contains 100 icons, wallpaper, sliders, badges, dock, lock screen battery and a few other UI mods. The thing I like about this theme is it’s subtleness. The icons are simple, clean and easy to look at. The other UI mods are subtle but enough of a change to feel like your device has been modded. … []
As I y, the mod (a hack that allows your iPhone to rotate in all 4 possible orientations) now has an toggle. The toggle is free if you have already purchased the SBRotator mod. I honestly have been trying since yesterday to get the toggle to install and was finally able to get it today. So, here we go.
