Motorola Flipout leaked: Announcement imminent?
Posted on 2010 under Android, Flipout, Mobile News, Motoblur, Motorola | Comments are offAn intriguing little device has leaked online claiming to be Motorola’s next Android powered and if legit, Google’s OS has never seen anything like this before! Various images have been leaked online to the Brazilian branch of tech site and show off a unique square design with a swivel mechanism that twists the screen out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, hence the name Flipout.
On first look, this could easily be dismissed as an upcoming fashion device or kiddy phone from Motorola but a closer look at the screen reveals the unmistakable presence of MotoBlur, Motorola’s user interface that sits on top of the manufacturers various Android devices (save for the flagship ). Flipout is expected to debut a newly revamped MotoBlur UI that will offer deeper integration with more social networking sites such as LinkedIn. As for the operating system itself, current rumours suggest the Flipout will be a 2.1 (?clair) device.
As for spec, take this with a pinch of salt but the Motorola Flipout is expected to launch with a 2.8 inch touchscreen, 3 Megapixel camera, HSDPA, Bluetooth, expandable memory, GPS and an impressive 700MHz processor. At this point, all of the above is merely speculation but the quality of the leaked image suggests we can expect an official announcement any day now. Keep an eye on the and we’ll let you know as soon as Motorola lifts the lid on the Motorola Flipout.
