Archives for Wave category

We first laid eyes on this thing back at Mobile World Congress in February when it was officially unveiled and to say we were impressed would be something of an understatement. The phone we’re talking about is of course the Samsung Wave and from its industry leading Super AMOLED display to its sleek and stylish form factor and exciting new Bada OS, the Wave certainly has enough going for it to make a big splash in the mobile space. And now, you can take one step closer to getting your hands on this exciting new smartphone as the Samsung Wave is now available to pre-order at Mobiles.co.uk with first stock arriving later this month.

The Samsung Wave isn’t short of headline grabbing features, none more so than the incredible touchscreen. The Wave uses new Super AMOLED technology which is thinner and brings the screen closer to the surface for a more responsive touch experience and hands down the best looking display we’ve ever seen on a mobile phone. The Wave runs Samsung’s new Bada operating system which is like a mixture of Android and Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI. It’s standard smartphone fare with the ability to customise multiple home screens, download apps from the Bada app store and the added bonus of Samsung’s Social Hub social networking integration.

The Wave features a 5.0 Megapixel camera, par for the course in smartphone terms, but ups the ante with 720p HD video capture. This coupled with that incredible display makes the Wave perfect for watching movies and making your own. The Wave is powered by a 1GHz processor which promises to keep things moving at an impressive speed and boasts 2GB of internal memory plus expandable memory up to 32GB. HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS finish off the impressive spec sheet and cement the Wave as a real force to be reckoned with.

With first stock expected to arrive on the 28th of May, the Samsung Wave is now available to pre-order on Orange and Vodafone here at Mobiles.co.uk. Pick up Samsung’s latest touchscreen offering free on a ?25 per month Orange tariff with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of inclusive data for web browsing and downloads. Reserve your Samsung Wave and be the first to get your hands on Samsung’s all new touchscreen smartphone.
